Tara Miller played for the Mountaineers from 1997-2001 and established herself as one of the top setters in NCAA Division II during her time. Miller’s numbers are staggering both as an individual and what the team did during her time. Miller is a three-time All-RMAC First Team selection, two-time All-American and All-Regional pick and a two-time All-Regional Tournament pick. Miller is also Western’s career leader in assists and aces. As a team, the Mountaineers went 83-34 during Miller’s time (including her medial red-shirt year of 2000), including three RMAC West Division Championships, two Regional Tournament berths, one NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearance, one Regional Tournament Championship and one RMAC Tournament Championship.
