Loris Werner becomes the first NCAA skimeister champion to be inducted into the Hall. In 1965 and 1966 he was the NCAA Skimeister (downhill, cross country, jumping and slalom) Champion. Also in '65, he was the U.S. national downhill champion.He was a two-time member of the United States Olympic Team. He made the 1964 team as a jumper and qualified in alpine in 1968.
