Hall of Fame
Before representing her home country of Hungary at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Szabo soared to record heights for the Mountaineer track and field program. She captured the RMAC high jump title in each of her four indoor and four outdoor conference championship meets, advancing to the NCAA D2 championship meet every indoor season and in her final three outdoor seasons. Szabo won four indoor national titles, outdoor titles her junior and senior years, and placed second to a teammate in her sophomore outdoor national meet. An eight time All-American, she holds Western's indoor and outdoor women's high jump records, and the indoor mark – 1.92-meters (6 feet-3.5 inches) – still ranks as the women's D-II record.
