Three-Peat: McDowell Claims RMAC Offensive Player of the Week Again

Gunnison, Colo.,   For the third straight week, Western Colorado's Aidan McDowell has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after another dominant two-game stretch.

McDowell averaged 30.0 points per game across Western's matchups with Montana State Billings and Texas A&M International, continuing to establish himself as one of the league's most reliable scoring threats. He shot 46.5% from the field, hit 5 threes, and finished the weekend nearly perfect at the line at 88.2%.

He opened the weekend with 28 points and 7 rebounds against MSU Billings, then followed with a 32-point performance versus Texas A&M International, adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Across both games, he totaled 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and committed just two turnovers, posting a strong 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

McDowell's third consecutive weekly honor underscores his emergence as one of the RMAC's premier offensive forces and a key catalyst in Western Colorado's early-season momentum.
