GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado University volleyball program hosts their first home match of the 2021 season this Tuesday as Fort Lewis travels to Gunnison, Colorado to play in Paul Wright Gym at 6 p.m.
 
Fans are encouraged to attend, but are required to wear a mask at all times in any indoor facility. There will be no concessions or VIP room access due to Covid-19.
 
MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE MATCH | SEASON STATS
Western Colorado heads into their first home match of the season with ten matches under their belt, with a record of 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the RMAC Western Colorado looks for another victory. The Mountaineers have won four of their last five matches heading into Tuesday.
 
Jordyn Todd leads the team in kills heading into the game as she has recorded 103 kills this season, averaging over ten kills per match and 2.96 kills per set. Most of those kills come from an Alex Galicia assist as she leads the team with 272 assists, averaging 6.97 assists per set. Galicia also leads the team at the service line with 13 aces already this season.
 
At the net, Kat Finnerty has recorded 35 blocks averaging just under one block per set (.90 blocks per set), as teammate Elizabeth Rupprecht leads the Mountaineers in digs having recorded 185 digs over the ten matches played.
 
SKYHAWKS HEADING INTO THE MATCH | SEASON STATS
Six matches into the season and Fort Lewis College sits 1-6 overall and 1-1 in RMAC play. They are currently on a one match-losing streak, after losing 0-3 on Saturday to MSU Denver for their second RMAC match of the season.

The Mountaineers will travel to Denver on Friday, Sept. 24 to play against Regis University at 7 p.m. in Regis Fieldhouse.
