GOLDEN, Colo. Western Colorado had a solid outing at the Mines Multi-Last Chance meet, as they had one runner earn a provisional qualifying time and  racked up 12 top-three finishes at the Mines Multi-Last Chance meet.

NCAA PROVISIONAL MARK

• Emma Kjellsen earned a second-place finish in the women's 1,500m, by crossing the finish line in a provisional qualifying time of 4:23.94. That time is currently ranked 16th in Division II.

MINES MULTI-LAST CHANCE PERFORMANCES

• Western took the top-two spots in the women's 400m hurdles, Kaiya Firor crossing the finish line first with a time of 1:02.15. Right behind Firor was Kelia Portis who crossed with a time of 1:04.93.
• Bringing home the gold in the men's triple jump, Ismael Dembele bounded to a distance of 14.43m (47-04.25).
• Ali Aldrich came in first-place in the women's shot put with a heave of 14.47m (47-05.75). Aldrich also competed in the hammer throw, where she came in second-place with a toss of 51.36m (168-06).
• Malcom Wesley came in second-place in the men's long jump, leaping to a distance of 7.02m (23-00.50) on his final jump.
• Lauren Smith cleared a height of 3.82m (12-06.25) in the women's pole vault, earning her second-place.
• The Mountaineers earned two of the top-three spots in the men's 1,500m, as Albert Hesse came in second-place (4:00.20) and was followed by Michael Grabowski in third-place (4:04.56).
• Eireann Donohoe earned a second-place finish in the women's triple jump, by leaping to a distance of 11.89m (39-00.25).
• Tying for second-place in the women's high jump, Sammie Bretz cleared a height of 1.61m (5-03.25) on her first attempt at that height.  
• Ethan Coyhis recorded a fourth-place finish in the men's 800m, crossing the finish line with a time of 1:51.87.
