ALLENDALE, Mich. The Western Colorado track and field team emptied the tank and left it all out on the track and in the pit. However, things just didn't go their way, as they were unable to earn All-American honors or qualify for the finals in running events on day one of the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
In running events, the top-four finishers in heat one and heat two automatically qualify for the finals – the remaining four spots are determined by best times out of both heats.
