GOLDEN, Colo. Western Colorado track and field put a close on its regular season schedule Wednesday at The Kit Mayer Classic, earning several new personal bests including
Sammie Bretz' second-place finish in the women's high jump.
The event, hosted by Colorado School of Mines, was originally scheduled for Friday and Saturday but the expectation of bad weather in Golden on the weekend convinced the Orediggers to move the meet up to Wednesday.
