COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Western Colorado All-American
Allison Beasley has been voted a First Team Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's All-Academic selection for outdoor track and field, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.
Her selection to the 2025 academic first team is Beasley's third consecutive honor, following selections to the 2024 and 2023 all-academic first teams in outdoor track and field.
In addition to Beasley's honor, thirty-four of her teammates earned inclusion on the men's and women's 2025 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
Nominees to the first-team ballot, submitted and voted on by each RMAC institution's athletics communications director, must maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average along with other criteria. Directors are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes. Honor Roll nominees must possess a minimum GPA of 3.30.
The top vote-getters on the women's and men's ballots are named the RMAC Academic Players of the Year, awards this spring earned by Katherine Higgins of Colorado State University Pueblo and Donovan Mini from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
Beasley in late May ran in her third consecutive NCAA Division II outdoor track and field championship, finishing fifth in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase to earn her second outdoor All-American award. She had earned her first All-American outdoor honor with a runner-up finish in the same event at the 2022 championship.
She was highly seeded in the steeplechase last spring but experienced an injury early in the race and was unable to finish.
Beasley earned her initial two All-American track honors at the 2023 NCAA DII indoor championship, placing seventh in the 3,000m run and as a member of the third-place distance medley relay.
