High School: Karter comes to Western after throwing for Little Snake River Valley HS in Baggs, Wyo. He is his high school's discus record holder (165'6'') and was named the Little Snake River Valley HS Male Track Athlete of the Year in 2019. Karter was also graduated as Valedictorian.
