GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado men's basketball team looks to bounce back at home after dropping their first two RMAC games on the road as the Mountaineers host Chadron State on Friday and MSU Denver on Saturday.

THE MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | 2019-20 SEASON STATS
Western Colorado fell on the road at defending regular-season RMAC champion Colorado School of Mines 85-67 on Friday in Golden and to UCCS 69-50 on Saturday in Colorado Springs.

Cole Sienknecht paced the Mountaineers over the weekend, averaging 14 points and 5.0 rebounds while freshman Matthew Ragsdale came off the bench to average 11.5 points over those two games, going 4-for-9 from 3-point range. As a team, the Mountaineers will be looking to improve after shooting 34 percent from the field last weekend and was outrebounded by an average of 8.5 boards per game.

On the season, Josh Tomasi leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game while Sienknecht is averaging 13.5 points and has a team-high 13 3-pointers while Jackson Ehrlin is averaging 11.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest.

CHADRON STATE HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | SEASON STATS
The Eagles split their RMAC-opening weekend at home, beating Colorado Christian 79-60 on Friday - led by 26 points and eight rebounds from Brian Rodriguez-Flores - and lost to Regis 97-89 on Saturday, getting 20 points apiece from Rodriguez-Flores and Brady Delimont.

CSC started the season with five straight losses - though none by more than 11 points - before winning two of its last three games. Rodriguez-Flores leads the team and is sixth in the RMAC in scoring at 18.1 points per game while also averaging 6.3 rebounds and connecting on 47.7 percent of his 3-pointers (21-for-44). Colby Jackson is second on the team in scoring at 10.6 points per game while averaging 5.3 assists (tied for second in the conference). Jacob Jefferson is also averaging 10.6 points to go along with 4.4 rebounds.

Despite being 2-6, the Eagles are averaging a point more per game than their opponent (72.4 points per game while allowing 71.4 points per contest.

MSU DENVER HEADING INTO THIS WEEK | SEASON STATS
The Roadrunners split a pair of home games last weekend, losing a three-point lead in the final minute to fall 66-65 to Regis on Friday (Garrett Carter came off the bench for a MSU Denver-high 18 points) before beating Colorado Christian in overtime 81-76 - getting 19 points off the bench from Druce Asah.

The Roadrunners are allowing 69.1 points per game - third in the conference - and lead the RMAC in turnover margin at 6.1 per game (forcing a conference-best 18.4 turnovers per game).

Asah leads MSU Denver in scoring at 14.6 points per game - leading the team with 20 3-pointers this season (shooting 34.5 percent from beyond the arc). Kendall McIntosh is averaging 10.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks (fourth in the RMAC) per contest while Mitchell Lombard is first on the team and seventh in the RMAC at 4.3 assists per game to go along with 9.9 points per contest.
