ALLENDALE, Mich. – On the final day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Western State Colorado University high jumper Bennie Kirkwood (Sr., Ventura, Calif.) came away with his second First Team All-American accolade of the 2014-15 season.

Kirkwood remained perfect through the first three heights, sitting in a tie for first place with two other competitors after 2.10 meters (6-10.75). With the bar at 2.13 meters (6-11.75), Kirkwood was unable to move on any further as he missed all three attempts to bow out of the competition.

However, his performance was good enough to tie for seventh place and earn his second-straight First Team All-American honor after his fifth-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March. Kirkwood's breakout season also included two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) titles.

Noah Zorsky (So., Amarillo, Texas) finished in a tie for 16th in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.80 meters (15-09). Zorsky wrapped up his first season with the Mountaineers as an All-American during the indoor season. He also claimed the RMAC Outdoor title earlier this month and broke the indoor and outdoor school records.

Luke Arnold (Sr., Wichita, Kan.) was unable to clear a height in the pole vault finals Saturday. He concluded his Western career a two-time RMAC champion and a 2015 indoor All-American.

For the weekend, Western took home four All-American honors. Adam Sinda (Sr., Arvada, Colo.) joined Kirkwood as a First Team All-American with a third-place finish in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Dawid Konieczek (So., Zsrit Powodowo, Poland) and Alicja Konieczek (Fr., Zsrit Powodowo, Poland) were named Second Team All-Americans for their performances in the steeplechase. Dawid Konieczek took ninth in the men's final while Alicja Konieczek was a 10th-place finisher in the women's race.
