THE HISTORY
- To extend the current win streak, Western will need to end losing streaks to both the Mountain Lions and the Cougars.
- UCCS has a 34-19 historical edge and has won the last five games against the Mountaineers, while CCU is 21-13 all-time against Western and has won the last two – including the RMAC season opener for both teams this season.
WESTERN COLORADO HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2025-26 Stats
- At 7-3 in the RMAC and with the win streak against RMAC teams, the Mountaineers (9-7 overall) sit in a tie for fourth place in the conference standings with Thursday's opponent, UCCS.
- Western's Ivey Schmidt is second in the conference in scoring with a 19.1 PPG average, 0.6 points shy of the conference leader. Her 7.0 RPG leads Western and is fifth best amongst the league's rebounders.

- Joining the duo in scoring in double figures is Alyssa Eckroth, who adds 12.3 PPG and is third in the RMAC in free throw percentage, hitting 70-of-85 for an 82.4% average.
- Western leads the conference in 3-point FG% (0.386) and is third in the RMAC in rebounding margin (+6).
- The Mountaineers post a +6 rebounding margin this season, but that figure is sometimes offset by a minus-6 turnover margin.
UCCS COMING INTO THE GAME | 2025-26 Stats
- Tied with Western in the RMAC standings (7-3), the Mountain Lions (11-7 overall) had a five-game winning streak halted by New Mexico Highlands but got right back in the win column in the next game, a road win at Fort Lewis as they head into Thursday's showdown with the Mountaineers.
- Amyah Moore Allen leads the team in scoring with an 18.8 PPG mark, but she's popped in at least 25 points in the team's last three games.
- Not only is Moore Allen the scoring leader, she also sets up the offense, leading the Mountain Lions with 46 assists.
- While Moore Allen has 17 3-pointers, the team leader from long range is Jayla Jackson-Allen with 23 triples.

COLORADO CHRISTIAN HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2025-26 Stats
- The Cougars are 4-14 overall and 1-9 in the RMAC, that lone conference win coming in their RMAC season opener against Western.
- CCU travels to Westminster University in Salt Lake City for an RMAC game before continuing to Paul Wright Gym. The Cougars will look to end a six-game losing streak in that Thursday game, or, what would be a seven game losing streak heading into the game with the Mountaineers.
- At 58 PPG, CCU ranks 13th of the 15 RMAC teams in scoring and their minus-6 point scoring margin also sits 13th in the team rankings.
- Jordan Heckert is the spark plug of the offense, at 12.2 PPG, the only player in double figures, and does a lot of damage from long range, sharing the team's lead in made 3-pointers (30) with Hayley Luther.
