COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon released the results of its 2025-26 Preseason Women's Swimming & Diving Coaches' Poll, a ranking that sits Western Colorado in fifth place with 34 points.
Returning champion Colorado Mesa University, with eight first-place votes, sits atop the poll with 64 points. Simon Fraser University picked up the other first-place marker – coaches are not permitted to vote for their own school – and is second in the poll with 56 points.
The Mountaineers finished fourth at the 2025 RMAC championship meet in February, scoring 1,010 points, behind third-place Colorado School of Mines by only 146 points.
Mesa captured the championship with 1,939 points while Simon Fraser, with 1,194 points, finished second in the team standings.
Western began its season on Sept. 19 and 20 with the Third Annual Dan France Continental Divide Cup, winning both day's meets to earn the Continental Divide Cup trophy for a third time.
The Mountaineers continue their 2025-26 season on Sat., Oct. 4 against visiting Southwest Minnesota State at the Paul Wright Natatorium.
