COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Western Colorado's
Sage Harrison has been voted to the 2024-25 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Wrestling All-Academic First Team, as announced by the league office Thursday morning.
In addition to Harrison, 10 other Mountaineers earned inclusion on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
Nominees are submitted by and voted on by the conference's athletics communications directors. Eligibility for Honor Roll includes a minimum grade point average of 3.30, the use of a season of competition, and the completion of at least two consecutive semesters at the institution.
Eligibility for first-team consideration elevates the GPA requirement to a minimum of 3.50.
Harrison, a redshirt sophomore with a 3.88 GPA in business administration, completed the 2024-25 season with an 18-11 match record at 197 pounds and a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Super Region VI Championships.
Of his 18 wins, 14 were of the bonus-point variety, including five falls and four technical falls. Of his 11 defeats, 9 were by decision including five by 3 points or less.
This is Harrison's second consecutive all-academic first team honor after earning his spot on that team last season.
