Jacob Blandford,
Vincent Cabral,
Devin Gomez, and
Sage Harrison on Tuesday were announced as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large honorees, with Gomez selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
The CSC all-district teams recognize the top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the fields of play. The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes honorees in four separate divisions – NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, and the NAIA.

Each nominee must have been an on-field contributor and in wrestling, must have competed in 75 percent of team scoring events on the schedule.
The At-Large grouping includes NCAA sports such as fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, and wrestling.
Both Gomez and Harrison were earlier in the postseason voted Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team in men's wresting, Gomez for the first time and Harrison for the third consecutive year, while Blandford and Cabral earned inclusion on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
Gomez earned a trip to the NCAA Division II championship with a second-place finish at the regional, posting a 2-2 record at nationals. He won 25 matches during the season – including a perfect 4-0 at Western's Tracy Borah Duals – with a 52% bonus win mark that included two pins.
Harrison concluded his career this season with a sixth-place finish at the Super Region VI championships, after winning 11 matches during the season, including a pair of falls and a bonus victory mark of 64 percent. Over his career at Western he won 53 matches.
Blandford won 19 bouts with a 78% bonus win rate during the season, going 1-2 at the regional and 3-1 at Western's 35th Annual Tracy Borah Duals.
Cabral placed fifth at the regional championship, registering a final total of 23 wins with a 48% bonus win rate during the season. He was a perfect 4-0 at the Tracy Borah Duals, including one tech fall and two major decisions within his four victories.
Western finished the 2025-26 season with a 10-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in RMAC duals and placed seventh at the region championships.
