COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Western Colorado's
Sage Harrison and
Devin Gomez on Wednesday were named members of the 2025-26 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First Team, as announced by the league office.
Harrison earns his third consecutive first-team all-academic honor while this is the initial first-team honor for Gomez, who was an Honor Roll selection last season.

Jackson Tribbett were all included on the 2025-26 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
Student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50, be in at least their third semester at their attending institution and must have used a season of eligibility to be nominated for first-team consideration. Honor Roll inclusion maintains similar requirements but with a minimum GPA of 3.30.
Harrison, a redshirt-junior majoring in business administration, has a cumulative grade point average of 3.858. He finished the season with an 11-15 overall record at 197 pounds, including 8 bonus point wins. He finished in sixth place at the NCAA Division II Super Region VI Championships.
Gomez, a redshirt junior with a 3.513 GPA majoring in exercise and sports science, closed out his year at the NCAA DII national championship tournament after earning his invitation by finishing as the runner-up in the 125 bracket at the Super Regional.
He went 2-2 at nationals to complete his season with an overall record of 25-10 with a bonus point win percentage of 52 percent. He began the season at 133 before taking over the 125 slot midway through the 2025-26 schedule.
Gomez debuted at 125 in January's Tracy Borah Duals where he went 4-0 for the Mountaineers, following that one-day unbeaten performance with five more wins in his next five duals, a string that vaulted him up to sixth in the national rankings and eventually to the No. 6 seed at nationals.
Ivan Smith Jr. from New Mexico Highlands was voted the men's wrestling Academic Player of the Year.
