Juelfs Honored with CSC Academic All-District Nod

GUNNISON, Colo.  Western Colorado's Kade Juelfs has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Academic All-District® NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Team.
 
The CSC all-district teams recognize the top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the court. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes honorees in four separate divisions – NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA.
 
Juelfs, an honorable mention All-RMAC player, posts a 3.82 grade-point average in business administration. He led the Western men's basketball team in several categories, including scoring average (12.5), free throws made (67), assists (60) and 3-point field goals made (63). He was second on the team in steals (22).

He led the team in minutes played (838) and minutes per game (31.0), while playing in and starting 27 of the team's 27 games.

Juelfs has also been named a CSC Academic All-America finalist, advancing to the national ballot voted on by CSC members. The men's CSC Academic All-America first-, second- and third-teams will be announced on April 15.
 
Nominations to the CSC Academic All-America program are submitted by CSC-member athletics communications and sports information directors from across the country.
