WALNUT, Calif.  Despite only having one Western Colorado runner compete in the Mt. SAC Relay on Thursday (Apr. 13), the Mountaineers still did their thing and came away with a provisional qualifying mark and top-five finish.
 
NCAA PROVISIONAL QUALIFYING MARK
Jacob Hernandez toed the line in men's 10,000m and left the majority of his Division I competition in the dust, as he cruised to fourth-place finish – crossing the finish line in a personal best and provisional qualifying time of 29:17.55.
