PUEBLO, Colo. Western Colorado had an impressive outing at the CSU Pueblo invite #3, as they had one school record tied, 17 top-three finishes, 10 top-ten all-time performances and nine provisional qualifying marks earned.

SCHOOL RECORD TIED
- Lauren Smith now sits atop the top-ten all-time records, as she tied the school record in the pole vault - 3.90m (12-09.50) - on her first attempt at the mark. That height is also a provisional qualifying mark and earned her third-place.
NCAA PROVISIONAL QUALIFYING MARKS
- Bringing home the gold in the women's 3,000m steeplechase, Allison Beasley left her competition in the dust crossing the finish line with a provisional qualifying time of 10:26.16 (Converted from 10:41.39). The time of 10:41.39 is ninth all-time.
- Albert Hesse had the same success as Beasley, in the men's 3,000m steeplechase coming in first-place in a provisional qualifying time of 9:09.21 (converted from 9:22.57).
- Katie Doucette cruised to a first-place finish in the women's 5,000m, coming in at a provisional qualifying time of 16:49.19 (converted from 17:15.61).
- Earning two provisional qualifying times in what was an exciting end to the men's 1,500m. Tyler Nord narrowly came in second-place, crossing the finish line with a time of 3:44.83 (converted from 3:49.66). Right on his heals was Simon Kelati who crossed in a time of 3:45.08 (converted from 3:49.92) earning third-place.
- Ethan Coyhis had a solid performance in the men's 800m, coming in second-place in a provisional qualifying time of 1:51.46 (converted from 1:52.06).
- Bounding to a second-place finish and provisional qualifying mark in the men's triple jump, Ismael Dembele soared through the air and landed at 15.36m (50-04.75). That distance moves Dembele to third all-time.
- Leah Taylor emptied the tank in the women's 1,500m, resulting in Taylor crossing the finish line in a provisional qualifying time of 4:31.95 (converted from 4:37.79) and earning sixth-place.
TOP-TEN ALL TIME MARK
- Moving up to fifth all-time in the women's shot put, Ali Aldrich recorded a heave of 13.37m (43-10.50), which earned her second-place. Aldrich also competed in the women's hammer throw where she came out on top, with an eighth all-time distance of 51.49m (168-11).
- Similar to Aldrich, Logan Butterfield earned an eighth all-time mark in the men's hammer with a throw of 53.16m (174-05). That mark earned him fourth-place.
- The women's 4x100m relay team – Mikayla Hutchison, Jada Hynds, Cora Olson, Myia Dantzler – had a seventh all-time performance, crossing the line in a time of 47.12, which earned them second-place.
- Posting an eighth all-time performance, the men's 4x100m relay team – Ja'Warren Smith, Hayden Marx, Eric Fike, Bryce Lucas – came in third-place with a time of 41.42.
- Joining the all-time list in the men's javelin, Michael Morgan throw of 55.85m (183-03), puts him at seventh all-time and earned him third-place. Sean House also joined the all-time board, moving to tenth all-time with a throw of 54.12m (177-07).
- Earning a top-ten all-time mark in the women's long jump, Eireann Donohoe leaped to a distance of 5.49m (18-00.25). That mark puts her at ninth all-time and earned her eighth-place. Â
TOP-THREE FINISHES
- Helping Western earn the top-four spots in the men's 3,000m steeplechase – including Hesse – Michael Grabowski, crossed the finish line second (9:28.41), then was followed by Patrick Jirele (9:29.68) and Kyle Partin (9:38.92).
- Krystal Wortham in the women's hammer came in third-place with a toss of 47.45m (155-08).
- Sammie Bretz earned a third-place finish in the women's high jump, clearing a height of 1.63m (5-04.25).

 Western Colorado will head to Golden, Colo., on Friday, April 7, to compete in the Kit Mayer Invite, which will take place over the course of two days.                                                               Â
