  • True freshman Tyler Nord wrapped up his collegiate indoor season debut with an impressive performance in the men's 3,000m - coming in third-place with a personal best time of 8:02.00. That time moves Nord to fifth all-time.
  • Early on in the race, Nord was hanging around the middle of the pack – going back and forth from 10th to 14th-place for the first 1,600m of the race. On the very next lap, Nord started to kick things into gear going from 11th (1,600m) all the way to seventh-place at the 2,400m mark. Nord wasn't done there and continued to make his push all the way to third-place with only 200m left in the race. Nord tried to make one final push to second-place. But, was held off by second-place finisher Miguel Coca from Adams State.
  • Allison Beasley also had a great finish to her indoor season in the women's mile, as she emptied the tank and came in seventh-place with a time of 4:56.08.
  • Beasley had a pretty solid race, holding the seventh-place spot for five out of the eight laps – briefly dropping to ninth (409m) and eighth (1,209m). At the 609m mark, Beasley did manage to briefly hold sixth-place.
