GUNNISON, Colo. Western Colorado will look to add a few more wins to their overall record this week, as they wrap up their season, taking on rival Colorado Mesa University and Westminster College.

LAST MATCHUP
- Western's have played Westminster College (Jan. 26) and Colorado Mesa University (Jan. 28)Â before in January. Against the Griffins, the Mountaineers fell 47-57 on Thursday, January 26. But, responded the next night (Jan. 27) defeating the Mavericks 61-60 on a Brooklyn Seymour game winning buzzer beater layup.
KEY PLAYERS
Mountaineers
- Emmery Wagstaff is second leading scorer in RMAC contest, averaging 17.8-points. She also leads the team in field goal percentage making 38 percent (11th in RMAC), three-point percentage making 33.8 percent (fifth in RMC) and is second on the team at the free throw line, sinking 80 percent (sixth in RMAC). Rachel Cockman is second on the team in scoring averaging 13-points (tied for 13th in RMAC) and leads the team at the free throw line making 83.3 percent (fifth in RMAC).
- Wagstaff is the top rebounder on the team grabbing six rebounds (14th in RMAC), and leads the team in pick pockets with 1.3. Cockman is one of the better shot blockers in the RMAC blocking one shot (fifth in RMAC) on average.
Mavericks
- In RMAC contest Olivia Reed has been the leading scorer for Colorado Mesa, averaging 13-points (tied for 13th in RMAC). Coming in ranked 20th in scoring in the RMAC, Monica Brooks averages 11-points. Reed leads the RMAC in field goal percentage making 61.6 percent of her shots. At the free throw line, the Mavericks are led by Kylie Kravig who sinks 79.3 percent from the line.
- On defense, Reed leads the team in rebounding grabbing nine rebounds (second in RMAC) and gets help from Brooks who grabs 7.2 boards (tied for eighth). Reed also leads the team in blocked shots, blocking 1.7 blocks per game (third in RMAC). Brooks and Kravig are also solid shot blockers, blocking 0.6 (tied for ninth in RMAC) and 0.5 shots (tied for tenth in RMAC).
Griffins
- For Westminster they are led on offense by Ashley Greenwood who averages 16.4-points (fifth in RMAC). Lyndzi Rich is also a factor on the offensive end, scoring 13-points which is tied for 13th in the RMAC. Rich leads the team in field goal percentage making 60.8 percent (second in RMAC) and is followed by Greenwood who makes 49.6 percent (seventh in RMAC). From the free throw line, Greenwood leads the way making 85.9 percent (second in RMAC).
