MANKATO, Minn. Western Colorado added three more NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifying Marks on Saturday (Feb. 12), when they competed in the Minnesota State Massive Meet #2.
NCAA PROVISIONAL QUALIFYING MARKS
- Improving her third all-time mark in the women's weight throw, Ali Aldrich earned a second-place finish and provisional qualifying throw of 18.31m (60-01.00). Aldrich also competed in the shot, coming in fourth-place with a heave of 13.63m (44-08.75).
- Kaiya Firor, Kiarra Lapp, Mikayla Hutchison and Kelia Portis earned a provisional qualifying time as members of the women's 4x400 relay team, crossing the finish line in a time of 3:54.44. That time earned them fifth-place in the event and also gets them on the top-ten all-time list at eight.
- The final provisional qualifying time came from Ethan Coyhis, who's time of 1:53.34 earned him fifth-place in the men's 800m and moved him to fifth all-time.
CONTINUED IMPROVEMENT
- Myia Dantzler in the women's 200m improved her season time in the event, coming in at 25.95. She will need to run a 24.88 in order to earn a provisional qualifying time.
