PUEBLO, Colo. Western Colorado will look to get back on track this weekend and keep their hopes of making the Rocky Mountain Athletic Tournament alive when they take on Colorado State University Pueblo (Feb. 18) and Adams State University (Feb. 19). Both games will be played at 5:30 p.m.

MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
- Western is coming off two tough losses against Regis (67-66) and Colorado School of Mines (65-50). However, sit in seventh place in the RMAC standings (8-9).
- While the Mountaineers are on a two-game losing streak, they got an important piece back last week – Samantha Coleman who paired with Emmery Wagstaff could help Western pull off multiple upsets as the season is nearing an end.Â
- Wagstaff has been the leading scorer for the Mountaineers as of late averaging 14.8-points per game in the month of February. Katie Dalton is the next highest scorer for Western scoring 11.8-points.
- The Mountaineers average 62.6-points per game in February, while giving up 63.2-points. Western shoots 42.6 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from three and 71.6 percent from the free throw line in February.
THUNDERWOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
- CSU Pueblo has been one of the better teams in the RMAC this season, currently sitting in second place (15-4) in the RMAC standings.
- Alisha Davis, JaNaiya Davis and Jazzy Hughes are the main scorers for the Thunderwolves, averaging 16.1, 10.8 and 10.5-points. Hughes is the better shooter from the field and three-point line, making 58.1 and 53.6 percent.
- Alisha Davis is the leading rebounder for CSU Pueblo grabbing 7.3 rebounds (No. 3 RMAC) per game and leads the RMAC in blocked shots with 2.5 a game. JaNaiya Davis is also a factor on the defensive end stealing the ball 2.5 (No. 4 RMAC) a game.
- The Thunderwolves have the fourth best offense in the RMAC scoring 67.7-points and third ranked defense only giving up 57.3-points.
GRIZZLIES HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
- Adams State snapped their four-game losing streak on Saturday, Feb. 12 when they beat fifth-place Westminster College 71-63. With the win the Grizzlies sit in eighth-place in the RMAC standings.
- Kayla Harris is the leading scorer for Adams State, scoring 8.5-points per game, while Stephanie Ruiz and Angelline Nageak are the next highest scorers each scoring 7.8-points a game. Nageak is the better shooter from the field making 40.9-percent. Ruiz is better from three knocking down 32.2 percent (No. 9 RMAC).
- Harris is the best defender for Grizzlies stealing the ball 2.3 times (No. 6 RMAC) a game.
- Adams State has the 10th ranked offense scoring 62.1-points, and has the seventh ranked defense giving up 62.5-points.
