GUNNISON, Colo. – Western Colorado swimming and diving wins their final home meet of the season. The Mountaineers hosted CSU Pueblo on Saturday in Paul Wright Natatorium, winning 168-87 over ThunderWolves.

The highlight of the meet came in the final event of the day, the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay, where the team swam a new pool record in the event. To clinch the victory and set the record in the process, Mountaineers
Emma Wilke,
Taylor Grebe,
Kali Stier, and
Hadley Nelson swam a time of 1:40.97.

Also setting a pool record in the 100-Yard Backstroke was
Savannah Tice in the lead leg of the 400-Yard Medley Relay as she clocked a time of 56.87 seconds.

The Mountaineers won 14 of the 16 events in the dual meet, earning their fourth victory of the season.
