2019-20 (Junior): Competed in six events at the RMAC Championships, taking 1st in the 100 Y Back and 2nd in the 200 Y Back...Led the team in the 50 Y Back (26.04), 100 Y Back (55.25), 200 Y Back (1:59.87), 50 Y Fly (26.55), and 100 Y Fly (57.57) ...Named First Team All-RMAC and Second Team All-RMAC as a part of the 400 Medly Relay.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Her sophomore year, Tice led her team in swimming the fastest 50 Back (26.41), 100 Back (55.60) and 200 Back (1.59.00). She placed 1st in the 100 Y Back (55.60) and 1st in the 200 Y Back (1.59.00) at the RMAC Championships along with placing 8th in the 100 Y Fly (57.81). Savannah set 6 personal bests and 1 season best. Her performance on the season qualified her to compete at the national championships in Indianapolis. There, she finished 20th in the 200 Y Back, breaking the previous held school record, also held by Tice. She placed 26th in the 100 Y Back. Along with these accomplishments, Savannah was one of four teammates to receive RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll. She swam the following:

2017-18 (Freshman): As a freshman, Tice found a new stroke after focusing on freestyle sprinting in high school. While still contesting the 50 and 100 Free events, Tice picked up the 100 and 200 Back, swimming personal bests in both at the RMAC Championships. Additionally Tice set the school record in the 200 Back and swam on two school record relays (200 and 400 Free). In the 100 Back, Tice placed 9^th winning the B final while swimming an NCAA B Cut time of 56.93. She also recorded a 9^th place finish and won the B final in the 200 Back with a personal best and school record 2:03.69. Tice also swam a personal best in the 100 Fly at the A3 Performance Invite.

High School: Went to Lamar High School where she participated in swim team, track and cross country Runner-up in 50 yard Freestyle at 2017 Colorado State Championship...Runner-up in 100 yard Freestyle at 2017 Colorado State Championship. Personal Bests: 50 Free - 24.38, 100 Free - 52.24, 200 Free - 1:58.80, 100 Back - 100.73, 100 Fly - 1:00.64

Personal: Hometown is in Lamar CO. Daughter of Christic and Jason Tice, and sister to Branson, Jennings, and Alee Tice.

Why Western? I decided to attend Western because of the women on the swim team, the education program, and city of Gunnison.
