Elijah Davidson comes to Gunnison from Albuquerque, New Mexico's Bosque School where he led the Bobcats to a state title his senior year - going for 26 points ,13 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and two steals an overtime win in the championship game. His senior season, he averaged 22.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.9 blocks in helping Bosque go 26-4. He was named to the New Mexico High School Coaches Association 3A All-State First Team (for the second year in a row) and to the MaxPreps All-State Third Team (regardless of classification). Overall, he played five years at the varsity level and averaged 17.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game (he played in 113 contests). As a junior, he averaged 23.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.8 blocks in helping Bosque go 17-11.

Kade Juelfs arrives from Lee Williams High School out of Kingman, Arizona. His senior season Juelfs averaged 19.9 points, 4.4 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game - helping the Volunteers to a 19-11 mark. Juelfs hit a team-high 69 3-pointers and scored a season-high 41 points in a victory over Prescott. Juelfs' head coach, Cain Atkinson, was recruited and coached by Mountaineer head coach
Bradd Schafer. Juelfs also lettered in football and tennis during his prep career.

Daric Conkright comes to Western Colorado from Horizon High School (Thornton, Colo.) where he averaged 13.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals his senior season - helping the Hawks go 17-7 and make the Class 5A CHSAA State Tournament. A consistent scorer, he reached double figures in 21 of 24 games as a senior.

Jaelan McCloud arrives from Morton College where in his freshman season last year he averaged 8.1 points, 2.3 3-pointers, 2.6 rebounds and shot 45.1 percent from 3-point range - 13th in NJCAA Division II. He scored a season-high 19 points twice and 17 times connected on multiple 3-pointers in a game. He is the twin brother of fellow WCU signee Jonathan McCloud.

Jonathan McCloud comes to Gunnison from Morton College where in his freshman season last season he averaged 6.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.5 3-pointers - shooting 31.6 percent from 3-point range. He twice scored a season-high 15 points. He's the twin brother of fellow WCU signee Jaelan McCloud.

Hunter Wood is from right here in Gunnison and comes to WCU after averaging 21.8 points, 3.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals his senior season - helping the Cowboys go 21-3 and make it to the Sweet 16 of the Class 3A State Tournament. He scored 30-plus points in a game five times while reaching double figures in all but one game his senior year. He was named the Western Slope League Player of the Year while being named to the Class 3A All-State Second Team.
