GUNNISON, Colo. – Western Colorado University Women's Basketball gets set for their last home games of the season this weekend. Friday night the Mountaineers go head-to-head against their RMAC rivals the Adams State Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym. Then on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., the Fort Lewis Skyhawks come to town to play in the highest collegiate gym in the world, Paul Wright Gym.
 
If Western win's both games this weekend they clinch a spot in the playoffs. This will be the first post season appearance in seven years for the Mountaineers.
 
Friday night's game will be Pink Night, so make sure to wear your pink to support breast cancer. All proceeds go to the Gunnison Chapter of Tough Enough to Wear Pink and the Kay Yow Cancer Foundation. 

Ranked seventh in the RMAC, Western (11-8 RMAC, 15-8 overall) looks to clinch a playoff spot this weekend by defeating 16^th ranked Adams State (2-17 RMAC, 2-21 overall) and 12^th ranked Fort Lewis (7-12 RMAC 11-14 overall).
 
The Mountaineers lead the RMAC in three point percentage, averaging 36.4 percent from behind the arch. Western currently has the second best defense in the RMAC, holding opponents to just 56.3 points per game. They also rank second for defensive rebounding, allowing only 31.8 rebounds per game.
 
Samantha Coleman ranks fifth in the RMAC for free throw percentage, making 80.5 percent of her shots from the line. She also ranks 11^th in the conference for three pointers, averaging 1.9 from behind the arch. Coleman leads the team in scoring with 270 points.
 
The leader of the Mountaineer offence, Tammarrah Gothard, currently ranks first for steals in the conference with 65 so far this season. On top of that she ranks second for assist/ turnover ratio and fifth for assists. Gothard leads the team in rebounding with 154 total rebounds.
 
As a team Western has been averaging 61 points a game.
 
Mikaela Parker leads the team in blocks, with eight blocks on the season.
