T/F Lands Six on 2026 USTFCCCA All-Region Team

NEW ORLEANS, La.  The Western Colorado University Mountaineers continued their standout outdoor season as six student-athletes earned 2026 Division II Outdoor All-Region honors, as announced by the USTFCCCA

All-Region recognition is awarded to the top five individuals in each event within their respective region, along with members of the top three relay teams. Western Colorado's honorees competed in the highly competitive South Central Region.

Leading the way for the Mountaineer men were Aiden Ellebracht and Brandon Kolb, who each earned All-Region honors in the men's high jump. Tyler Nord secured All-Region distinction in two events, the men's 1,500-meter run and 5,000-meter run, while Jan Thewes earned recognition in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

On the women's side, Myia Dantzler earned All-Region honors in the women's 100-meter dash after a record-breaking season that saw her shatter the Mountaineer program record at the outdoor conference championships. Peyton Weiss rounded out the honorees with All-Region recognition in the women's 1,500-meter run.

Up Next: Nord, Thewes, Dantzler and Weiss will now turn their attention to the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set for May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas.
