COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Wednesday announced its 2024-25 All-RMAC teams for men's wrestling with two Mountaineers on the first team and two on the second team.
Western Colorado's
Dean Noble at 149 pounds and
Cole Hernandez at 174 pounds were voted to the first team, while
Vincent Cabral at 157 pounds and
Cole Gray at 184 pounds were voted to the second team.
Noble, No. 3 at 149 pounds in the most recent National Wrestling Coaches Association rankings (1/20/25), has a 16-2 record this season, including an 8-1 mark against RMAC opponents. He was tabbed for the All-RMAC second team last season.
Hernandez, too, is 16-2 overall this season. The NWCA ranking's No. 1 wrestler at 174 in its last release, Hernandez is 6-1 this winter against RMAC foes. He was voted to the All-RMAC first team last year.
Cabral earns his first All-RMAC honor with Wednesday's announcement. Heading into the Super Regional he carries a 13-8 overall record with a 5-4 mark against RMAC opponents.
Despite a limited schedule this winter upon returning from an injury, Gray remains one of the conference's notable wrestlers. At 7-3 overall and 3-1 in the RMAC, Gray earns his second All-RMAC nod after earning first-team honors last season.
The four Mountaineers and their teammates will next compete in the NCAA Division II Super Region VI Championship on March 1, hosted by Western Colorado in the Mountaineer Field House.
