CHADRON, Neb. No. 19/20 Western Colorado will hit the road to take on Chadron State on Saturday (Sept. 23) in Chadron, Neb. Kickoff is slated for noon MT.
The Mountaineers have taken the last three games from the Eagles including a 56-28 victory in Gunnison, Colo., last season.
MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND

Drew Nash has taken over as the Mountaineers' starting quarterback and has thrown for 538 yards and five touchdowns in the first three games of the season. Nash ranks sixth in total passing yards and passing yards per game (179.3).

Deyvon Butler has been the leading rusher for the Mountaineers this season with 218 rushing yards, which ranks fourth in the conference. Braeden Hogan ranks 11th in the conference with 117 rushing yards over 42 attempts.

Kendall Lightfoot and Trevor Riters lead the Mountaineers defensive efforts with 18 total tackles apiece. Riters has also registered .5 sacks so far this season. Bryce Lucas leads the conference in pass breakups with 10.
EAGLES HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND

The Eagles are looking for their first conference win of the season after taking a 55-19mlost last weekend that made their overall record fall to 1-2.

As a team, Chadron State's offense has 311 rushing yards and 609 passing yards throughout in their first three games. Heath Beemiller leads the Eagles QB with 500 passing yards this season including four touchdown passes.

Xavier Harrell and Joey Giel lead the Eagles in total tackles with 25 and 22 tackles, respectively.
