PUEBLO, Colo. Western Colorado will head to Pueblo, Colo., this weekend for the first game of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
- It has been a rough start to the season for Western Colorado, in large part due to a handful of injuries to key players on both sides of the ball. Currently the Mountaineers are 0-2, as they prepare for RMAC competition.
- So far this season, Braeden Hogan has been the leading rusher for Western rushing for 87-yards on 18 attempts in the one game he played in. Luke Nethercot is right behind him with 76-yards on 19 attempts and one touchdown.
- Nethercot is also the leading passer for the Mountaineers racking up 227 yards passing, two touchdowns and has the top quarterback rating of 99.26.
- Kai Emmsley has been the top receiver for the Mountaineers catching seven passes for 59-yards and two touchdowns. Nathan Meyer also has seven receptions for 48-yards.
THUNDERWOLVES HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
- CSU-Pueblo has been solid to start the season, pulling off a 59-27 upset over, at the time No. 24 ranked Midwestern State Texas. The Thunderwolves then loss to No. 5 Grand Valley State 10-35.
- CSU-Pueblo relies on their quarterback – Steven Croell – and Austin Bacher (Running back) to carry the load in the run game. Croell is the leading in that category with 142 rushing yards, with Bacher right behind him with 100-yards and one touchdown.
- In the passing game, Croell has thrown for 542-yards, six touchdowns and has a completion percentage of 63.2. In 68 attempts he has also only thrown two interceptions.
- Andrew Cook and Max Fine are the top receivers for the Thunderwolves. Cook has 182-yards receiving and three touchdowns and Fine has 91-yards receiving. Dorion McGarity, Kiahn Martinez and CK Poulos had found the endzone this year each having one touchdown apiece.Â

The Mountaineers will be home for the first time this season on Saturday, Sep. 24 at 1 p.m. taking on Chadron State College for Hall of Fame weekend. All home games will be played at Katy O. Rady field.
