COLORADO SPRINGS --- Western Colorado volleyball qualifies for the RMAC Volleyball Championships for the first time since 2015. The Mountaineers finish the regular season ranked No. 6Â in the RMAC with their record of 6-7. With Regis University dropping out of the RMAC Tournament, Western Colorado moves into the No. 5 spot.

As the No. 5 seed, the Mountaineers will take on No. 4 Colorado School of Mines on Thursday Apr. 8 at 7:30 p.m in the quarterfinals. All RMAC Tournament matches will be played in Grand Junction at Colorado Mesa's Brownson Arena.

Due to COVID, fan attendance for each session will be capped at 450 individuals per session and all fans must follow standard COVIDÂ protocols. Tickets are first come first serve.

This is the first RMAC Tournament appearance for Head Coach
Jessica Fey who took over the program in 2018, which had a 2-24 record that year ranking last in the RMAC. In just her second season in 2019, Fey improved the Mountaineers by nine victories as the team went 11-15 overall and 7-11 in RMAC play. Now in her third year, she leads her team to their first RMAC Tournament since 2015.
