GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. ---Â Western Colorado swimming and diving finishes day two of four at the RMAC Championships in Grand Junction on Thursday.
One of the highlights of day two came from senior
Savannah Tice as she tied for third place in the 100-Yard Butterfly in a time of 57.15 seconds.Â
Tice was also apart of the Western Colorado 400-Yard Medley Relay team that finished third in the event. The team consisting of Tice,
Adrianna Bese,
Jordyn Richey, and
Taylor Grebe who swam a time of 3:53.78.Â
The diving team finished sixth, seventh, and eighth in the 1-Meter Dive with
Sarah Mortenson leading the way with 334.50 points, followed by
Jordan Kelley (325.60 points) and
Rachel Ardehali (284.30 points).
Leading the team and finishing seventh in the 200-Yard Freestyle was Mountaineer
Addison O'Donnell as she touched the wall in a time of 1:55.56.
Finishing ninth in the 100-Yard Butterfly behind Tice, was Western Colorado's own
Jordyn Richey as she won the B finals in a time of 58.63 seconds.Â
Western Colorado currently holds the fifth place spot with 193.5 points.Â
