Gunnison, Colo. ---Â The Western Colorado volleyball program will host Black Hills State University and South Dakota Mines this weekend in Paul Wright Gym. They take on the Yellow Jackets Friday Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. and the Hardrockers Saturday Oct. 23 at 4 p.m.
MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE MATCH:Â SEASON STATS
Western Colorado Heads into the weekend with 9-9 overall this season and 4-6 in the RMAC. They return this week with two losses from UCCS and CSU Pueblo, where they lost 2-3 in a five-set match and 1-3 in a four-set match. Mountaineers are on a three-match losing streak and look to break that this upcoming weekend to bring home a win.
This season
Jordyn Todd leads the team in kills this season at 158 kills, averaging 2.32 kills per set. Taking on the setting responsibilities for the Mountaineers will be Western Colorado'sÂ
Hailee Martinez with 222 assists, averaging 4.93 assists per set andÂ
Lexi Wilmoth, who has 98 assists and an average of 4.08 assists per set.

Elizabeth Rupprecht leads the Mountaineers with 304 digs averaging 4.41digs per set.

Black Hills State is 5-13 on the season overall and 2-8 in the RMAC. With a difficult season the Yellow Jackets rank thirteenth in the conference and are currently on a three-match losing streak.

The Hardrockers head into Saturday's game at 9-9 overall and 3-7 in the RMAC. They have lost 4 out of the last 5 games, their most recent loss coming from Colorado Mesa university.
