2022 (Sophomore): Played in every match (25) and every set (89) … her 426 set assists led the team and is a single-season career high … recorded 20 or more assists in seven matches, and 15 or more in 17 matches … 30 assists in season-ending win over Adams State (11/05) was a season high … added to the offense with 16 service aces … her 126 digs were third most on the team, and her 11 digs in four-set loss to N.M. Highlands (11/04) was a single-season high.

2021 (Freshman): In her first year as a Mountaineer, she started in 11 of the 23 matches she played in ... In the 79 sets played, she recorded a team high 22 service aces and 9 kills ... Martinez also had 153 digs and 1 block. 

High School: Martinez came to Western Colorado University from Mead High School where she was a two-time All-Conference and All-State two years in a row. During her time as a Maverick they made the state playoffs three times and had one state championship appearance her senior year (2021). Parents are Jeff and Jerri. Has two siblings Chandler and Mikayla.
