GUNNISON, Colo. --- Western Colorado gets defeated by CSU Pueblo in a four set match (L, 25-13, 30-28, 24-26, 25-20), to give the Mountaineers their third loss in a row.

The Mountaineers had a rough first set, but then kept it close the next three sets sending the second and third set into overtime. Despite winning the third set, Western Colorado was unable to maintain and allowed CSU Pueblo to walk away with the victory after the fourth set.

At the net,
Kat Finnerty recorded four blocks as
Savanna Meyer earned one block over the four set match. Finnerty and Meyer also had eight kills for Western Colorado, as
Emily Mangone and
Jaeda Davis-Golliher led the team with nine kills each.

Lexi Wilmoth (19 assists) and
Hailee Martinez (15 assists) shared the setting duties on Saturday.

Elizabeth Rupprecht continues to lead the defense as she led the Mountaineers with 18 digs; Mangone was second on the stats with 11 digs.

Western Colorado did manage to put up seven aces in the match, with Finnerty leading the team with three. Martinez earned two service aces, then Mangone and Wilmoth each served one ace.

The Mountaineers will be back in action next Friday and Saturday as they host Black Hills State on Friday at 7 p.m. and South Dakota Mines 4 p.m. on Saturday.
