ALAMOSA, Colo. – For the third weekend in a row, Western Colorado University Swimming and Diving returns to the pool for a dual meet against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference competition. On Saturday, Western heads to the San Luis Valley to take on Adams State University at 12:00 p.m.

Western (1-2-0, 1-2 RMAC) dives into Plachy Hall Pool for a dual with Adams State (0-1, 0-1 RMAC).

Early in the season, Western continues to test their fitness in the pool while racking up races as experience for the championship segment in February.

Currently, Western has five athletes and one relay with performances inside the top five in the RMAC ranks.
Randi Yarnell leads Western with four performances (50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, and 100 Fly) among the top five best marks in the conference. Both
Sydney Skiles (1,000 Free, 1,650 Free) and
Savannah Tice (50 Back, 100 Back) feature in the top five for two events. Additionally,
Meagan Walker and
Gabrielle Davy factor inside the top five performances in the 1,650 Free.

Western's 4:09.38 clocking in the 400 Medley Relay stands as the second best mark in the conference.

At Adams, Western will contest a 14 event schedule. A full schedule can be found in link above.

Last season, Western took down Adams in two duals 126-77 and 148-54.

In their only outing of the season, Adams State captured one event win against Colorado Mesa University as Megan Dudden took first in the 200 IM with a 2:14.60.
