GUNNISON, Colo. – Two more opponents await Western State Colorado University men's basketball this weekend at the Colorado Mesa University Holiday Inn-Airport Thanksgiving Classic in Grand Junction, Colorado. The Mountaineers will face two NAIA opponents in the tournament hosted in Brownson Arena. Western will first play Central Methodist University at 3 p.m. on Friday, before playing No. 18 MidAmerica Nazarene University at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

This weekend's games will be the final nonconference games of the season before Western (1-3, 0-0 RMAC) begins Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

The Mountaineers split last weekend's games. Western defeated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 81-69 before falling to Midwestern State University 121-123 in double overtime.
