GUNNISON, Colo. - Western State Colorado University volleyball travels to New Mexico for a pair of games over the weekend. Western's first stop will be New Mexico Highlands University on Friday before travelling to Silver City, New Mexico to face Western New Mexico University on Saturday.
Western (0-14, 0-10 RMAC) enters the weekend, coming off a 3-0 loss to Adams State University last Friday. The Mountaineers will attempt to defeat the Cowgirls of NMHU (8-12, 3-7 RMAC) for the first time since 2012.
NMHU enters Friday's match after a 3-0 loss to Colorado Mesa University last Saturday.
On Saturday, the Mountaineers travel to WNMU (6-11, 3-7 RMAC). The Lady Mustangs are coming off a 3-1 win over Fort Lewis College. WNMU will face CSU-Pueblo on Friday.
Western will try and defeat the Lady Mustangs on Saturday for the first time since 2010.
