Wallis at Qual Meet for Third Time

EVANSVILLE, Ind.  Vying for an invitation into the national meet, Western Colorado's Alexandra Wallis on Tuesday, March 10 will be participating in the 2026 NCAA Division II Diving Qualification Meet at the Deaconess Aquatic Center.

This will be the third time, excluding an injury season, in which Wallis has posted the required point totals to earn an invitation to the Qualification Meet having also participated in the 2023 and 2025 meets.

The top 22 of the 39 women's divers from the qualification meet are officially invited and advanced into the NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships that officially begins Tuesday evening at the Aquatic Center with the men's and women's 800-yard freestyle relays.

Wallis – Western's record holder for the 6-dive, 3-meter board event (272.55 points) – posted season-high scores of 260.75 for 6 dives and 438.90 points for 11 dives on the 1-meter board.

Her season bests this season on the 3-meter board are 218.85 points for 6 dives and 412.10 points for 11 dives.

Competition on Tuesday begins at 9 a.m. MT with 6 dives on the 3-meter board and resumes at 1 p.m. MT with 6 dives on the 1-meter board.
