  • Lauren Jacobson and Rolseth scored back-to-back kills to keep the Mountaineers even at 11–11.
  • Chadron responded with a 7–0 run led by Bella Adams and Kally Kirkwood, pushing the Eagles up 18–13.
  • Western fought back with kills from Kyra Kidd and Breanna Nohava, but Chadron capitalized on service errors and Adams' late kills to take the set 25–18.
