COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.  The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Wednesday afternoon announced the major award winners along with the official All-RMAC cross country teams, a list that includes six first-team runners from Western Colorado.

Branden Davis, Oliver Diaz, Tyler Nord and Jan Thewes raced to first-team honors to help the Western men place third in the final standings.

Earning second team honors were Esteban Reyes and Aiden Wieskamp.

The Western women placed fourth at the RMAC meet, led by first-team honorees Allison Beasley and Peyton Weiss, and second-team runners Jayda Nix and Lauren Willson.

Diaz, Reyes and Thewes would later go on to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division II championship meet where the Mountaineer men placed fifth overall.

The Western women were also fifth at nationals, paced by All-Americans Beasley, Weiss and Willson.
