HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Westminster opened strong, taking early control behind an efficient attack led by Breegan Huntsman and Mailei Myers.
  • Western found some rhythm with kills from Anuhea Kaalele, Kyra Kidd, and Emily Robins, but a series of attack errors allowed the Griffins to extend their lead. Westminster closed the frame on a 9–3 run to win 25–13.
  • Western Colorado responded with energy in the second set, trading points throughout. Liv Marshall sparked the Mountaineer offense with multiple kills, while Nohava and Kidd contributed on key swings.
  • Kaalele and Willits distributed the ball well, helping Western build a 21–19 advantage. However, Westminster rallied late behind Huntsman and Parrish, edging out the set 25–23 despite Western's most balanced effort.
  • In the final frame, Western kept things close early with kills from Marshall, Rolseth, and Nohava, and solid defense from Andrew, who tallied 23 digs overall.
  • Westminster, though, found another gear with efficient hitting and timely aces to pull away. The Griffins finished the match on a 10–3 run to seal the sweep 25–15.
