  • Kade Juelfs got the ball after the Mountaineers took a timeout and drained a jumper from the field giving the Mountaineers the lead at the right time. Sterling Pierce ended the game with a missed jump shot trying to give his team the lead at the last second but missed the jumper off the rim.

  • Trey Wood dominated for the Griffins in the second half with 18 points, which accounted for more than half of Westminster's 32 in the final frame. While Wood was an offensive threat in the second half, the Mountaineers were able to score 50% from the field to claim their 8th conference win of the season.
  • Neither team had a double-digit lead throughout the game, as the Griffins seven-point lead with 12 minutes, 4 seconds to go in the first half was the largest margin of the night. Westminster outscored Western Colorado 47-43 in the first half, shooting 56% percent from the field in the first half.
