Denver, Colo.,  The men's and women's cross-country team traveled to the MSU Denver to compete in the NCAA DII South Central Regional Championships Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Crossing the finish line, for the men, in the 14th spot, was sophomore Tyler Nord with a time of 31:55.42.
- Just on Nord's tail was freshman Oliver Diaz who placed 15th, with an end time of 31:55.93. Graduate student Garrett Watts placed 18th finishing at the 32:08.19 mark.
- Senior Leah Taylor finished 5th overall and first for WCU with a time of 21:40.54,.
- Sophomore Peyton Weiss was not far behind, finishing 12th with a final time of 22:09.95.
- Six spots later sophomore Lauren Willson finished 18th (22:18.87).
