Gunnison, Colo.    Mountaineer Volleyball travels to Alamosa, Colorado to take on Adams State on Thursday November 7 at 6pm, then to Pueblo, Colorado to play CSU-Pueblo on Friday, November 8 at 7pm.
 
WESTERN COLORADO GOING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2024 STATS

• Western Colorado Volleyball comes off a three-game win streak, defeating SDM 4-1, N.M. Highlands 3-0 and Black Hills State 3-0.  
• The Mountaineers placed 13th in the RMAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. They go into the match 11-12 overall and 6-4 in conference.
• WCU has a total of 1127 kills, 1033 assists, 126 aces, 1450 digs, and 130 blocks so far this season.
• Senior setter Nur Turkmenoglu has control on both sides of the ball with 870 total assists (9.89 per set), 78 kills, 28 service aces, 175 digs and 28 blocks.
• Senior Seyun Park paves the way with 266 total kills (3.20 per set). After her is junior Pelin Aksoy  with 194 total kills (2.52 per set). Third is junior Olive Rolseth with 185 kills (2.28 per set) then senior Kennedy Kelly  with 184 kills (2.16 per set).
• Sophomore Chinaru Inoue is the front runner for digs with 399 (4.53 per set). Sophomore Kacee Garcia also adds to digs with 186 (2.21 per set). Contributing to both the offense and the defense is sophomore Kyra Kidd with 133 total kills (1.51) and 69 total blocks.

ADAMS STATE UNIVERSITY GOING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2024 STATS

• The Grizzlies placed 12th in the RMAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. They go into the weekend with an overall record of 9-15 overall and 3-7 in conference.
• Admas is coming off RMAC Power Pod wins versus UCCS 3-1 and Fort Lewis 3-0.
• ASU has accumulated 1118 total kills, 1044 total assists, 87 total aces, 1390 total digs and 167 total blocks so far this season.
• Redshirt senior Anna Huggins paces the offense with 279 total kills (3.17 per set). Right with her is redshirt senior Cindy Garcia contributing 250 kills (4.03 per set).
• Redshirt senior setter Remi Vargas has racked up 380 assists (5.07 per set).
• The defense is controlled by senior Keely-Shae Sapiga with 270 digs (3.07 per set) then senior Sierra Leone Sanchez with 250 digs (2.87 per set) along with sophomore Katie Bauer who is top in blocks with 74.

COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY PUEBLO GOING INTO THE WEEKEND | 2024 STATS

• The Thunderwolves placed 5th in the RMAC Volleyball Preseason Poll. They go into the weekend with an overall record of 13-9 overall and 6-4 in conference.
• CSU is coming off a split weekend, defeating Chadron 3-0 and dropping to South Dakota Mines 0-3.
• Pueblo has accumulated 973 total kills, 878 total assists, 131 total aces, and 1144 total digs and 132 total blocks so far this season.
• Junior Sadie Scoville paces the offense with 192 total kills (3.43 per set). Right with her is redshirt freshman contributing 187 kills (2.56 per set).
• Freshman Hallie Hewlett has racked up 380 assists (5.14 per set).
• The defense is controlled by junior Megan Mattingly with 169 digs (2.32 per set) then Scoville with 156 digs (2.79 per set) along with sophomore Macy Wood who is top in blocks with 44.
