GUNNISON, Colo. --- The Western Colorado volleyball team is scheduled to host Colorado Mesa University on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym for senior day, and then travel to Pueblo, Colorado for a neutral match against Black Hills State University on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Mountaineers currently rank sixth in the RMAC RPI rankings with only two matches left in the regular season. The top eight teams will advance to the RMAC Championships. Western Colorado has not made the RMAC Tournament since 2015, where the team lost in the first round to Colorado Mesa.

Saturday will be the Mountaineers last home match of the year and is slated to be Senior Day for the two Western Colorado seniors playing in their last home match as a Mountaineer.
Hanna Hendrickson and
Lyria Brook will both graduate at the end of the semester, finishing their four dedicated years as a part of the Western Colorado volleyball program.

MOUNTAINEERS HEADING INTO THE WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
Western Colorado heads into the weekend after winning both matches last week, winning 3-2 (21-25, 27-25, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10) over South Dakota Mines and winning 3-1 (28-26, 25-22, 25-27, 25-20) against UCCS.

Offensively, senior
Hanna Hendrickson has started out her season strong, leading the Mountaineers in assists averaging 8.70 per set, with 409 so far this season. Many of those assists going to sophomore
Jordyn Todd who leads the team in points (147.5), kills (135), and total attacks (457).

Defensively, senior
Lyria Brook leads the team in digs this season as she earned 173 digs so far this season. At the net, freshman
Savanna Meyer is a tough player to get the ball past as she has 45 blocks this season, averaging over 0.96 blocks pet set.

CMU HEADING INTO THEÂ WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
Colorado Mesa is the only undefeated team in the conference, as they are 12-0 overall and 9-0 in conference play. The Mavericks hold the No. 1 seed spot in the RMAC and the No. 2 spot in the nation.

Leading the Mavericks offensively is senior, Maddi Foutz who leads the team in points (150) and kills (136). Most of those kills came from an assist from Sabrina VanDeList who has 269 assist on the season. Senior Maddi Foutz also leads Colorado Mesa in digs with 136 on the season, as teammate Haley Hahn leads the team in blocks with 36.

The Mountaineers played Colorado Mesa twice last year, losing both games 3-0.

BHSU HEADING INTO THEÂ WEEKEND | SEASON STATS
Black Hills State heads into the weekend on a three game losing streak, as they currently have a 5-7 overall record and are 3-6 in RMAC play. The Yellow Jackets are 3-3 on the road this season.

Offensively, the Yellow Jackets have two players with over 100 kills this season. Most of those kills came from an assist from sophomore Karly Marx who has recorded 247 assist on the season.

Sophomore Haedyn Rhoades leads Black Hills State in digs with 202 on the season, as teammate Emma DeSanti leads the team in blocks with 42.

LAST SEASON VERSUS BHSU
The Mountaineers fell to the Yellow Jackets at home last season 3-0, despite putting up 10 blocks against BHSU.
