ALAMOSA, Colo. ---Â Western Colorado falls 3-1 on the road to Adams State University on Saturday night, concluding their regular season.

The Mountaineers lost the first set (25-23) to the Grizzlies, but quickly bounced back to win the second set 25-18. Western Colorado fought tough in the third, but came up short 25-23. From there Adams State kept the pressure on and closed out the match 25-16.

Western Colorado had an impressive four aces in the match, two from
Emily Mangone, as
Elizabeth Rupprecht and
Hailee Martinez each served one.

Rupprecht also led the team in digs with 25 over the four set match.

Western Colorado had three athletes record over 10 kills, as
Kat Finnerty led the Mountaineers with 13 kills, as
Jordyn Todd recorded 12 kills and
Emily Mangone earned 11 kills. Most of those kills coming off a
Hailee Martinez set, as she recorded 28 assist on the night.

At the net, Finnerty recorded five blocks and
Savanna Meyer earned three blocks.

The Mountaineers are currently tied for sixth in the RMAC and will now move onto the RMAC tournament.
