GUNNISON, Colo. --- Western Colorado swimming and diving hosts their first home meet of the season as Adams State University travels to Gunnison on Saturday to compete in Paul Wright Natatorium.
 
The meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will consist of a head-to-head dual against the Western Colorado and Adams State women, along with the Adams State men having an intra-squad dual.
 
Many of the Mountaineers will compete in their secondary events, as they will be racing their best events next week in their big midseason meet at the A3 Performance Invitational.
 
Some of the Western Colorado athletes to keep an eye on are Mountaineers Sarah Mortenson for diving, Lauren Linneman in the 500-yard freestyle, Demetra Fellows in the 100-yard butterfly, the Western Colorado 200-yard freestyle relay and the Western Colorado 200-yard medley relay.
 
Fans are encouraged to attend, but will have to wear a mask at all times while indoors.
